Landsburg Logging, Inc. seeks to provide reliable, knowledgeable, and accountable timber harvesting services to its customers. The company is small enough to give each customer personal service and professional enough to handle large, challenging projects while balancing the needs of the landowners with responsible timber harvesting.
Ron & Sally Landsburg have been logging for 26 years. Before they started their logging business, they had a Firewood, Fence Post, and Christmas Tree Business. Prior to going into the forest products and logging business, Ron was a Timber Scaler for the U.S. Forest Service, The Northern California Log Scaling & Grading Bureau, and private lumber mills.
Ron is a 5th generation Nevada County native. The Landsburg family has been involved in logging, milling, and firewood since the 1870's. In the very early 1900's Ron's great-grandfather had a mill and logged with horses in the North Bloomfield & Graniteville areas, selling lumber and firewood to the mines and residents. The Landsburgs' still sell firewood and have a Choose & Cut Christmas Tree Farm that keeps them busy during the winter. Their son, Jim, (6th generation) works as a logging foreman in the woods as well as being a partner in the family Christmas Tree Farm.
The Landsburgs' provide complete timber harvesting services from tree to mill, taking the fear and confusion out of the logging process. Ron, Sally, & Jim Landsburg, along with their crew, care about providing excellent service for their customers while meeting and/or exceeding the California Forest Practices Rules and Regulations.
